January Junior Chess competition results :

The Galway Junior – Jan. 1 day competition winners ..
 
The overall winner is Andrew Finnerty (St. Pats), 2nd Cian Horan (Bushy Pk.),  3rd Matthew Hennessey (Scoil Ignoid).
 
Girls section winner Mumtahain Fatema (Scoil Ide), 2nd Ellen Kelly (Bushy Pk.), 3rd Alison Powell (GMA).
 
And in the novice section our winner was Cormac Naughton (GMA), 2nd Luke Scarry (St. Pats), 3rd Luke Wyer (Scoil Fhursa).
 
The next junior chess event in Galway is on Sat. 24th Feb.
