Thanks to everyone who turned out for our one day competition last weekend .. and a special thanks to Fiona Cormican for her help in running the event.
There were 2 sections .. Improvers and Advanced.
In the Advanced group the winners were.. 1st Adam Healy , 2nd Clodagh Ryan , and 3rd Thomas McStay .. all from the Claregalway / Lachagh area.
And the Improvers group was won by Sean McDonagh (Clairnbridge N.S.), 2nd was Conor Coogan (Geal Scoil Knocknacarra) and 3rd was Abdullah from St. Nicholas N.S.
There were blitz play-off’s for 2nd and 3rd in both events which were cruel for young Shane Ward and Ellen Kennedy .. but they (like many others) played a great tournament and are likely future winners.
